Tips on staying organsied for school

We are now about a month into the academic year so I decided that I would give you some tips on how to stay organised for school.

  1. Have a planner - I'm sure that we all get tons of homework every week (well at least I do) and we might forget what our homework is and when it is due in. So get a planner/ diary if your school doesn't provide one so you can write down your homework assignments.
  2. Create a timetable - Create a timetable so you can organise your week. You can write down what days you do after school activities or what days you are going to revise certain subjects.
  3. Highlighters - Highlight key parts of information, this way when you are revising the important parts standout.
  4. Post it notes - Wirte down key parts of information on post it notes. Having multi coloured ones are better because you can stay colour coordinated.
  5. Have a notebook - have a notebook so you can write down notes.
  6. Study cards - I love using study cards to help me revise. It is so much easier than just reading out a text book all of the time. So just write down the things you need to know for your exam in note form and use them when revising.
  7. Alarms/ reminders - set phone reminders for when you have important dates to remember, like exams or what time your are going to revise.
  8. Re-read school work - make sure that you read over your school work so you don't forget what you learnt that lesson.
  9. Get rid of distractions - Get rid of distractions (your phone, laptop, ect) whilst revising or doing school work!!
  10. REVISE!! - Don't forget to revise! If you don't revise you might forget everything you have learnt at school and fail your exams so REVISE!!
I hope that you found these tips useful. If you have any other tips that you might like to share just comment down below.
